Hello, my name is Dawn and I am a compassionate and experienced home carer. One of the key reasons I chose a career in caring is my genuine desire to help others lead independent lives. I strongly believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, and I strive to provide the highest quality care to my clients. I am proud to have a range of skills including eating and drinking assistance, medication reminders, assistance with dressing, moving and handling, as well as bathing.
Not only am I skilled in providing essential care, but I also possess attributes that make me an excellent carer. I am caring, friendly, and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure the comfort and well-being of my clients. In addition, I have a true talent for connecting with people and making them feel at ease.
Outside of my caring role, I have a variety of hobbies that keep me well-rounded. I enjoy walking, which allows me to stay active and appreciate the beauty of nature. Cooking and baking are also passions of mine, and I love preparing delicious meals for my family and friends. Socializing, reading, and watching TV are other activities that bring me joy and relaxation.
I am particularly grateful to have a driving license and my own car, as it allows me to provide care to individuals who may require assistance outside of their homes. I understand how crucial it is for my clients to have the freedom to go where they need to, and I am more than happy to provide transportation whenever necessary.
